Here at San Diego Coin Buyers we treat every piece of numismatic history that comes through the door as our own and give it our full undivided attention. The owner Chris Johnson started collecting coins when he was a young child and continued the love of the hobby into his adult years. He joined the Marine Corps in 2006 at the age of eighteen which brought him to beautiful Southern California from Wisconsin.

Unfortunately, eight years into service he was medically retired. Prior to being retired Chris met his coin and life mentor who would help him to start his own coin business. Chris decided to stay in Fallbrook, CA and build a nationwide wholesale business with the help and guidance of his mentor. Chris would spend twenty-one days out of the month traveling to different trade shows throughout the country, buying trips state to state, providing out of state and in-state Coin, Jewelry, and Pawn Stores with immediate funds for items they would want to sell wholesale.

Since then a space became available in downtown San Diego at the San Diego Jewelry Exchange. Prior to this space Chris has not dealt with the public except for a little on eBay. All his business has been dealer to dealer. Chris is hoping he can provide the public the same services which made him successful in the wholesale industry through “San Diego Coin Buyers”.
